PS3 Copy Games Piracy or Not

Free PS3 Copy Games: Piracy or Not?

Most software providers have their content copywrited for one reason. They want to make money. That is right and proper. They need to earn a living. No one should steal from others. That is a given. But there are times when it may be appropriate to search out free PS3 copy games.

An Expensive Proposition

There is no question that gaming is an expensive hobby, especially if you want to have your own copies rather than renting. You spend an enormous amount of money for a very fragile thing, a game disc. If one tiny flaw or scratch occurs, the game is ruined. That may send you in search of free PS3 copy games.

I am not advocating that anyone try to find free PS3 copy games as an initial transaction. I do believe there should be a mechanism for backing up fragile game discs. In that case, you have a legitimate need.

Calling for Back Up

There are several ways to back up games. The best way is to use software that allows you to copy the original disc and burn to a new DVD. This means you can take the originally purchased DVD and make a backup disc in case something happens to the original. Then you have free PS3 copy games in case you need them. It is always prudent to have back up.

Some software programs are easier than others. When looking for free PS3 copy games the programs run the gamut between one stop options and several pieces that must be downloaded to enable copying. Obviously the one stop options are best, but they may have an initial cost up front for the software. There are shareware and freeware programs out there though they may require you to have a little computer prowess to get them to work.

Don’t be a cheapskate. Buy your games. Give credit where credit is due. But understand that you may need back up if you are going to get the most for your buck. But be careful. Make sure you have a program that can decode the copy protection. Otherwise, you will have a useless disc. If the software itself doesn’t have that capability you may need a hardware modification that can do the same thing. There are devices that are easily installed on your pc to do just that.

So if you are looking for free PS3 copy games don’t despair. It can be done. All it takes is a little research and the right software.
